I decided to take a simple approach on Easter nails for this weekend. I picked out five pastel colors (one for each finger) to start with.
(From left to right: An unknown Color Club, Ulta-Cream of the Crop, Sally Hansen-Mint Sorbet, Essence-You Belong to Me, and Essie-Play Date.)
At first, I tried to use a zig-zag stamp on top, but it was just covering up too much of the pretty pastel colors. I painted over the stamps and went in a different direction. Haha, you can see a little bit peeking through on my pointer finger...
Annnd on top of that I added a franken glitter I made with a bunch of loose glitter I recently got. I'm considering naming it "Funfetti." :)
Pretty awesome looking, right?
And here's a close up on the glitter. I think they look like the little, speckled candy Robin's eggs! I'm so happy with how they turned out and also pleasantly surprised with my franken!
So pretty! I love the Franken, and Funfetti seems so appropriate :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's so much fun mixing polish and ending up with something that's randomly awesome haha.
DeleteFunfetti is very appropriate for the Franken! Very cute!
ReplyDeleteThanks! :D Funfetti is my favorite kind of cake.
