Well, after a busy last few days (Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers out there!), I've finally got my last two Naild'It polishes to share with you! The first part had the jelly base/glitter topper, the second one had the holographics, and this last installment has the white-based glitters.
"Sir Round Sound" (again with the amazingly perfect names!) is a whiteish base that has a little bit of nude-tone in it. It's got more of a jelly consistency that works really well for the layered and suspended glitter look. It's filled with a medley of glitters, including micro hex in black, blue, and pink, black squares, black shards, and pink, gold, and aqua circles. I know there are a few large black and silver holographic circles in there, but unfortunately I didn't see any on my nails. For this look, I used two coats of "Sir Round Sound," one coat of OPI "Don't Burst My Bubble" and then one last coat of "Sir Round Sound." I finished it with a coat of Seche Vite.

"Sugarmess Glum" has more of a pure white base that leans more towards a creme than a jelly. It's packed with lots and lots of tiny iridescent and holographic hexes, pastel purple, blue, and pink hexes in several sizes, large bright purple, pink, and silver holo hexes, bright purple squares, and lastly some pink diamonds. Whew. So, yeah. Lots of glitter in this one. I ended up reaching opacity after three coats, but it was a bit of a task to even things out. I think I'll add a few drops of thinner to this one next time! I topped it with two coats of Seche Vite.

Gorgeous swatches! And they look great on you! Both are very beautiful and stunning creations! I love the mixture of various glitters in all the right proportions! I do favour Sir Round Sound over Sugarmess Glum though. ;)

ReplyDeleteI agree! Most of the creme based glitters I have feature a white base so it's neat to see the more nude toned one!
