Hi readers! Today is Wednesday so of course I got to crack open some of my newly acquired WingDust polishes for you! Even though I've got a heaping pile to swatch, the weather in Oregon is being fussy so I don't have my usual sunlight shots today.
"Bad-ass Babe" - This polish starts with a black jelly base and is filled with red, black, fuchsia, purple, and silver holographic glitters in mostly hexes, with some huge red hexes and dots as well as some tiny red bar glitters. That background is also filled with a beautiful purple shimmer.
Application was absolutely lovely and I only needed two coats plus top coat for these photos! As always, Stephanie has found the perfect mix in a jelly that is opaque enough to cover in just a couple of coats, but not so opaque that it covers all the glittery goodness.
My thoughts? This is the first completely black-based WingDust I've tried and I love it! The combination of black, red, and purple is such a great, dark and vampy color combination. I apologize for showing you such a gorgeous polish only to crush your hopes, but this was a limited run and appears to now be sold out.
You can purchase WingDust polish on Etsy, Llarowe, and several other international stockists. Make sure to follow her on Facebook and Instagram to see sneak peeks of new polishes and restock notices!
