Happy Halloween! Are you dressing up for the holiday? Doing anything creepy or cool with your nails? Today I wanted to show you two polishes from the Halloween collection "Apocalypse of Color" from China Glaze this year!
"Don't Let the Dead Bite" - This pale nude jelly base is filled with red metallic hexes in several sizes and small bar glitter. These photos show three coats plus top coat and you can see that the base has built up to a nice level of coverage. If you're looking for a super easy "blood splatter" look for your nails this year, I'd definitely recommend this one!
"But of Corpse" - This medium green texture polish is filled with silver shimmer and tiny black bits. It has an excellent formula and these photos show just two coats. You could definitely apply top coat if you're not a fan of the textured finish or if you wanted to bring out more of the sparkle. I think the color and bumpy finish is just perfect for a Halloween polish!
And because I'm a dork, here's a silly picture where I added a brain into my hand! ;D My thoughts? I love love LOVE these two shades and am so happy that China Glaze went for more non-traditional Halloween shades this year. If I can, I'm going to attempt to get the other two textured shades from the collection!
I think they did a phenomenal job with this collection.
