Model City Polish Spring Bouquet Collection

Hi lovelies! Today I have a collection from Model City Polish to share with you called the Spring Bouquet Collection. This six piece collection is a rainbow of shimmering pastels loaded with flakes. It's soft and totally Spring appropriate. Let's get into the swatches!

"Azalea" - A medium pink crelly base filled with silvery flakes and scattered holographic sparkle. This is such a flattering shade of pink for me! I used two coats plus top coat.

"Fritillaria" - A warm orange crelly base filled with orange/gold flakes and scattered holographic sparkle. This is the perfect creamsicle orange that actually works with my skin tone! It had great coverage and I used two coats plus top coat.

"Primrose" - A pale cool-toned yellow crelly base filled with some bright yellow shimmer and scattered holographic sparkle. I used three coats plus top coat or this one.

"Hellebore" - A lime green crelly base filled with bright green flakes and scattered holographic sparkle. Of course I love the green in this collection! ;) I think this one is the perfect balance of being vibrant but still somewhat pastel. I used three coats plus top coat.

"Himalayan Poppy" - A sky blue crelly base filled with medium blue flakes and scattered holographic sparkle. The flakes are a bit darker than the base in this one, which makes for a particularly nice speckle effect. I used three coats plus top coat.

"Pennyroyal" - A soft lavender crelly base filled with purple flakes and scattered holographic sparkle. On its own it almost looks like a pale blue, but next to the rest of the collection (specifically next to "Himalayan Poppy") it leans more purple. I used three coats plus top coat.

My opinion: This collection is a great balance of colors that are bright but also soft and semi-pastel. They're vibrant enough to give you a pop of color but also perfect for easing into the Spring season. I love the use of flakes in these and feel like it makes them even more sparkly and delicate. I also appreciate that these are all based on flowers, which seem to match PERFECTLY to the images I found! Lastly I am so psyched that Nina made this a rainbow collection! I adore rainbow things so whenever I see a six polish collection that consists of rainbow colors I do a little happy dance. :D A tiny part of me wishes these were all strong linear holographics, but I totally understand wanting to go with a softer scattered holographic sparkle for Spring.

Which shades are your favorite? Will you be picking any up this Satuday?

As always, thanks for reading?
