Today's WingDust Wednesday post features a super gorgeous thermal polish! Holo, shimmer, gold leaf, and thermal color shift? Sounds pretty great, right?
"One of Those Summer Days" - This holographic thermal polish shifts between a pale, slightly grey blue to a bright medium blue. It's filled with small iridescent hexes, purple shimmer, and 24 karat gold leaf flakes! The formula was great and I used three coats plus top coat for the coverage you see in these photos. It was fun to watch it change colors from the medium blue on the brush to the light blue as it warmed up on my nails!
This shot really shows the difference between the lighter (warm) color on my nails and the darker (cool) color in the bottle!
Outside the holographic shimmer makes a beautiful, sparkling backdrop for the gold leaf flakes.
My fingers must have been quite warm because I had to run my fingers under cold water for quite a while to get them cold enough to get some shots of the dark blue color! I can't wait to wear this again when my nails get a bit longer.
My thoughts? This is one of the most beautiful thermal polishes I've tried so far! The color shift is awesome and super noticeable. Even if it didn't have the thermal aspect, the deep blue holo packed with the iridescent glitters and gold leaf is beautiful on its own.
"One of Those Summer Days" is still available on Etsy right now! You can purchase WingDust polish on Etsy, Llarowe, and several other international stockists. Make sure to follow her on Facebook and Instagram to see sneak peeks of new polishes and restock notices!
