This polish is called "Intense" and it's part of Mentality Nail Polish's "The Good, the Bad, and the Microglitters" collection. This collection has 21 different shades, all made up of different combinations of micro glitters! Think Floam in every color! The one that stood out the most to me was this mix of black, white, and neon green.
I love how it almost just looks like little neon pixels! It's such a fun look!

I used three average coats and two coats of Seche Vite on top to smooth it out. Surprisingly, it wasn't a SUPER hungry glitter, so it was fairly smooth even with just one coat. Coverage was just the tiniest bit patchy, but that's to be expected when trying to get full coverage from a glitter. :P I think this would look amazing over a bright pink or blue!

I love these microglitters, great swatches! I've been tortured over which ones to pick up lol...there's just so many!

ReplyDeleteI made the mistake of wearing this with a glue base coat, which was on top of lotion-y hands lol so it peeled off quite quickly. However, it was super fun to stare at while I did have it on!
DeleteThank you so much for the share! I love this polish on you. I wanted to leave you a tip, if you found the first go a bit patchy, try shaking the bottle really well before you use it again. The first round of these polishes were mixed by the bottle, so there is a slight chance there are still "blank spots" in the base, if you will. I can usually get them opaque in two coats with no undies.

DeleteI've been doing the trick where I've been letting glitter bombs sit upside down for 10-15 minutes right before I use them and it seems to make a world of difference. Thanks for the additional advice though!
