Born Pretty Store Plaid Stamping Plate

Hi loves! Tonight I have a bit of stamping to show you from another Born Pretty Store stamping plate. I've always wanted a plate with a plaid design so I was super excited to pick this one out!

I had been wearing Pretty Serious "The Dragon's Curse" (which is a GORGEOUS color and deserves an entire review of its own soon) and decided to add this easy nail art by using Born Pretty Store plate QA96. As you can see in the photo below this plate has three different plaid patterns as well as some more abstract designs. I stamped with Lucky 13 Lacquer "Dark Matter" and added one coat of top coat. I will say that this is one of the most difficult designs I have ever attempted to stamp... the tiny lines in the plaid didn't hold up very well during the transfer and it was surprisingly difficult to keep things straight.

My opinion: I'm going to have to try the other plaid images on this plate, but from using the one I did I have mixed feelings. I have been stamping for quite a long time (since Konad stands first started popping up in the mall YEARS ago, before I even got into nail polish collecting or blogging) so I have (for the most part) figured out how to finagle things. I think this end result looks alright, but up close I notice all the crooked lines and sections that broke when I transferred the image. Sooo I guess what I'm saying is it's not a bad plate, but it does require a crazy amount of precision! ;D You can also use my coupon code "XPL91" if you end up purchasing anything from Born Pretty store.

As always, thanks for reading!
