Pretty Serious "Khepri's Amulet" + Born Pretty Store Stamping

Hi readers! Today I have a quick swatch and then some stamping to share with you. I finally placed my first order for some Pretty Serious polishes and am already SO impressed! I couldn't wait to share this color with you.

"Khepri's Amulet" - A shimmery teal with just a hint of a metallic quality and tons of green-gold shimmer. It almost behaves like a duochrome shifting between teal and green. I used two coats plus top coat for my photos, but in brighter light I found that I could see a bit of visible nail line. In person, it looks quite opaque.

The next day I decided to add some nail art on top of "Khepri's Amulet" by stamping with a plate from Born Pretty Store. This is the BP-L006 plate. As you can see it has a wide variety of patterns so I picked five fairly geometric ones and added each one to a different nail.

This also gave me a great opportunity to test out Lucky 13 Lacquer "Dark Matter" for stamping! So does it stamp? Absolutely! It turned out plenty opaque and I had no issues picking up the images. The BP-L006 plate also performed really nicely. The images were etched well and they were all large enough images to fit on my long-ish nails. I did goof up a bit on the edge of my thumb nail, but that was totally my fault.

My opinion: LOVE this polish. I was worried it was going to be one of those fairly thin shimmers that needs a billion coats or has to be layered over a black base, but this wasn't the case at all. I swear in some light it looks teal but it others it looks like a true green. I can't wait to show you the other shade I purchased!

My opinion: I really like this plate simply because it has so many essential geometric patterns all in one place. I probably won't ever use the images on the bottom, but that's alright. The star pattern is also one that I'm particularly looking forward to using. All of the images I tried stamped with no problem and they were large enough to cover my nail. It's a winner in my book! :) You can also use my coupon code "XPL91" if you end up purchasing anything from Born Pretty store.

As always, thanks for reading!
